Performance Coaching

Sustained behavioural change is a function of performance coaching sessions following module training workshops in interpersonal skills, leadership and management

The underlying adult learning premise that disciplined practice is required over 120 days, means that coaching sessions, spaced at regular intervals, are held for participants to fully internalise the skills and behaviours in each segment of the learning.

Individual coaching tutorial sessions are conducted by a Performance Coach. They are 45 minutes in length and are conducted face-to-face or remotely by phone. Ideally they are held at 2-3 weekly intervals following the module training workshop.

Small group coaching tutorial sessions of up to 8 participants also form part of some training modules where the skilling relates to the effective performance of a team as opposed to an individual.

Development in Practice's Performance Coaches identify the performance gaps of the learner, construct rigorous, applied practice within and outside the tutorial sessions, and drive continuous application and reflection to lift a learner's competence. Our coaches are rigorous, supportive, demanding and genuinely dedicated to the success of the learner in their business.
